1. How to place an order?

For placing an order, please create a trade account at Furniture-by-Quadr. Your details will be verified and your account validated/ activated accordingly. You’ll use this account to select the items you would like to order.

Within two working days we will contact you to confirm the item availability, delivery time and transport cost (when asked/ possible). We normally deliver in 4-8 weeks.

Once the order is finalized and checked, you will make the advance payment (see the payment section in our General Terms and Conditions)

Quadra will then confirm the payment receipt and inform you on the firm delivery term and date and when the rest of the payment has to be made.

At this point, no further adjustments to the order can be made.

2. Does Quadra sell to the public?

Quadra’s clients are comprised of wholesalers and retailers from all around the world. If you are a Romanian individual interested in our models, you may contact directly Factory Outlet in Targoviste . If you are living abroad, please contact our office (+40 245 217 616 or email marketing@quadra.ro) to get information about the nearest dealer in your area that carries our range.

3. What is the minimum order?

The minimum accepted order is of 3,000 Euro.

4. Can I visit your factory?

We welcome anyone to visit our premises from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Please announce your visit at least a few days in advance.

5. How do I choose the finishes?

We offer you different types of finishes, from waxed and water based painted to more complex sprayed finishes. Also, on the same piece of furniture we can apply two colours (combo finishes). Please visit our Wood Finishes options section in order to make the first selection of the required finishes. Our staff is also eager to offer you detailed information on all the available finishes and on the way they can be combined.

6. Are all pieces available in all colours?

You can choose any model in any of the available finishes.

7. Can I have finishes samples?

Yes, by request you can receive samples of wooden finishes and for fabrics and leather.

8. What kind of wood is used for the construction of the furniture?

All our standard furniture models are made of solid pine wood. The use of MDF is limited to selected models for stability or   constructional purposes, like door panels. It may also be the preferred material for specific projects like bathroom items or shop   display units. The tops of Victoria Line kitchen models are made of beech. Also, our Flexi Table range has pine, oak and beech options for tops.

9. What kind of upholstery is used?

We are using different leather types and fabrics. Wood elements are made of solid beech.

10. Can I get custom made furniture?

We do not make 'one offs' or custom furniture. For larger quantities of the same model, please contact your sales representative.

11. How are the products measured?

The dimensions are taken from the widest outside points, and may vary slightly from the dimensions shown. If exact dimensions are needed, please advice us when placing the order

12. How is the furniture packed?

Our models are carefully packaged using cardboard protectors for corners edges and tops, bubble pack and shrink-wrapped in plastic pack. All packages are clearly labeled.

13. What is the delivery time?

We normally deliver within 4 to 8 weeks from the moment we receive the advance payment.

14. Who takes care of the transport arrangements?

We arrange the transport for most of our clients. We do this every day, so we generally have good rates. If you have your own transport arranged, then we will be happy to work with them. However, please keep in mind that our prices are exclusive of transport and insurance.

15. How do I maintain the products?

WOODEN FURNITURE

Natural variations occurring in wood or other materials are not considered defects and the colour-fastness or matching of colors, grains, or textures of such materials may be different from a product to the other. The furniture made of solid wood is sensitive to the environment. However, quality problems may be reduced by installing, using or maintaining the furniture in accordance with the instructions below:

- Do not place the furniture outdoors;
- Do not place furniture next to radiators, heating and cooling vents. Never expose the furniture to direct fires (fireplaces, stoves, etc.) or other intense sources of heating;
- Cyclic changes in temperature in an unheated environment (cool at night, warmer during the day) can cause small cracks of the wood;
- Direct sunlight should be avoided; it can dry out wood furniture and has a bleaching effect on wood and finishes;
- Do not put hot, scratchy or wet objects on finished surface; use tablecloth/ place mats;
- Avoid mechanical shocks by handling carefully. Never drag the pieces across the floor, as this will cause damage to the joints;
- For hand painted finishes use bees wax or special wax oil recommended by your furniture retailer to maintain the surface’s natural sheen and resistance against the liquids, stain and scratches. Apply the same wax on drawers or door’s sliding shafts to ensure smooth gliding.
- Clean sprayed surfaces with a damp cloth using only water or mild soap and water solution and finish by wiping off with dry cloth.
-  Do not use strong cleaning agents containing ammonia, alcohol or silicone. 

UPHOLSTERY

All upholstery in our range is hand-made using solid, beech wood frames. Different quality foam, fabrics or leather may be used, as well as different paints or lacquers for the legs. Regardless of the chosen material or finish, damages can happen if treated carelessly and caution must be taken regarding grime, grease and liquids.

Please follow below care instructions to enjoy your upholstery to the fullest:

 - Flip, rotate and fluff removable cushions regularly to ensure even wear and increase longevity.
- Tight, attached seat and back cushions will stretch and wrinkle with use. You can easily restore their appearance by smoothing the surface and tucking excess upholstery into the sides of the seat or back.
- To minimize fading, we recommend placing your upholstered pieces where they won't be exposed to direct sunlight.
- Because dust and dirt cause upholstery to wear faster, we recommend vacuuming regularly with an upholstery attachment. Also vacuum before cleaning in any form.
- For spot cleaning, use a cleaning product that corresponds with your fabric or leather. Test any cleaner in an inconspicuous area first. Never use spot cleaners containing bleach or alcohol.
- You'll get the best results if you treat stains immediately. Blot up as much of the spill as possible with a clean, dry, white cloth. Don't rub.
- For persistent stains and overall cleaning, contact a professional upholstery cleaning company.
- An annual professional cleaning will keep your upholstery looking its best.

16. How can I get a printed catalogue?

Please indicate the required number of catalogues on your order. The customers get a certain amount of catalogues free of charge, but the rest will be priced by your sales representative.
